What it does.

  1. Expiry-aware records per person.

    Each qualification gets a record with the issuing body, issue date and expiry date. Its status follows the expiry date.

    • Certification types set by your managers
    • Issue and expiry dates for each person
    • Mark certification types as required
    • Valid, expiring within 30 days, or expired

  2. See team-wide gaps at a glance.

    Rows are people. Columns are required certifications. Each cell shows valid, expiring, expired or missing.

    • Every required certification across the team
    • Filter by person or certification
    • Missing certifications highlighted
    • Export to CSV or XLSX

  3. A simple log of training attended.

    A light log of courses attended: course, provider, completion date and any expiry.

Questions.

Why are certifications separate from training records?

Certifications are expiry-tracked and feed the compliance matrix. Training records are lighter and log courses attended.

Can a permit require a specific certification?

No. Permits are not checked against staff certifications.

Can staff upload their own certificates?

Not at the moment. Managers and admins add certifications for their team.

What about expired certifications, are they kept?

Yes. They show as expired in the matrix and the record stays.

Does the matrix show gaps automatically?

Yes. Mark a certification type as required, and anyone without it shows as missing. The matrix is by person, not by site.
